Silly LJ. It isn't 18:45 it's 13:45. It'd really be nice if LJ worked the way it should at work. Hopefully this entry doesn't come out in gigantic neon green comic sans or anything.

I just swallowed part of my tongue ring. :/ I only put it in for the first time this week, and it had already come undone once so I guess I should have seen it coming. *shakes fist*

Anyway, the tongue ring thing made me decide to paw through my LJ to see when I'd originally gotten it. March 22, 2003. And here I keep telling people I've had it five or six years. XD Just a little off.

I am greatly looking forward to the work day ending so I can look for a new tongue ring, look for some Monster High dolls I won't find, and possibly look for new nail polish. I actually threw a bottle away last night! But that still has me in the 140s somewhere I think. I'm too lazy to count them again. >_>

Freeze dried pears are delicious. Pineapple is better but I don't have any.

I feel like I should say something that's actually y'know... an update but absolutely nothing of any interest has happened to me lately. Which is fine. I'd rather be boring than have something bad happen.

I'm painting my nails in a vague NaNoWriMo theme, which really just means I'm using the website colors. :B I wanted something that would glow and wasn't feeling super inspired. I'm excited to start this year (NaNoWriMo, not painting my nails) and feel really good about it. :3 Yup.

I have a new keyboard that's itty bitty and basically a PC version of the mac keyboard. I've been going back and forth between my laptop and tablet, so I can keep both the tablet and the keyboard on the little TV tray thingie I use. Because I'm ghetto. Yo.

Today my... I don't know, hip or something started hurting. Really badly. I woke up from a nap on the couch and nearly fell over when I stood up and started walking. I don't think I could have slept on it wrong since I was laying on my back on the couch, and I don't recall doing anything weird to my general leg area today. So I have no idea what's going on. I'm hoping it stops by tomorrow (later today I guess) because I have to be all ghostie for Maus's pictures at Fort Moultrie. I may end up being a waddley ghost.

I'm wearing cheap earrings! OMG SO EXCITED! I've only been able to wear white gold earrings for years but now I'm wearing some cute cheap Halloween earrings from Claire's. Now if only my Haunted Mansion necklace would arrive because I'm feeling kind of naked without one.

I should probably hobble upstairs to bed. This is going to suck.

I have "Oh No" by Marina and the Diamonds stuck in my head. Yup.

I want to say up front that I'm practicing typing on my new tablet (which has an attachable keyboard) and it doesn't seem to have much in the way of spell check so if I miss any typos I'm sorry. I'm probably going to use this to type a fair bit of my NaNoWriMo novel so I must practice! Because yes, I am doing NaNoWriMo this year, and I WILL WIN! No repeats of last year. *pose*

Um... so hi. My life is extremely uneventful. I don't know that I'm really complaining about that or anything, it's just a statement. Lately I've been spending most of my workday watching stuff on Netflix while I do what little work I have coming my way at the moment. It's always the whole feast or famine thing, it never seems to be anything in between. So I just goof around online and read both fanfiction and actual books. I read Josh Gates's book last week, and I've been working my way through some of the Sherlock Holmes stories. ... Dear God I'm boring. XD

You'd think after not updating for so long I'd have something to say but uh... not really.

I hate it when every post from someone begins with "I'm not dead!". I always find it really awkward when that happens and I realized that I hadn't even noticed the person gone. So uh... if you didn't notice I haven't posted in the past month THAT'S OKAY!

Maybe I should put an LJ app on my phone or something since I can't easily use it at work. I really do miss everyone! I used to live on LJ. ;3;

Soooooooo how are things? Overall things with me haven't really changed a whole hell of a lot. That's just how interesting I am.

My cats are stupid. This isn't anything new, it's just on my mind since Tex is currently stalking Gambit, who seems too dumb to notice. Ah cats.~

I'm playing Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands. I seem to be very stuck on the fact that one of the bachelors lives in a shanty.

My current musical obsession is Chameleon Circuit. Oh look at this, it's a YouTube link to "Nightmares" my favorite song off their latest album. Hiya! How'd that get there? Oh yeah and the song is about Doctor Who. But listen to it even if you aren't a fan

Tex is currently licking a pot holder. What did I tell you? Dumb.

I was able to drug myself to sleep for a while but it's not working anymore so my insomnia is once again kicking my ass. This is pretty much the opposite of cool.

Maus is doing some sort of journalism (or somesuch) project wherein she follows me around and takes pictures of me doing nothing in particular. It's a little strange but you get oddly used to it. This video doesn't have much to do with that, but it does involve me and Maus being stupid and sitting outside eating lunch during a rain storm. Yup.

I'm not sure how long ago O'Malley and Bug were paid off, but I'm still waiting for them. Really I'm waiting on O'Malley. I think Bug is at Denver Doll already. I seriously hope O'Malley isn't being held up by a box shortage.

I haven't really been too involved in the doll hobby in general lately. I've been playing with and taking pictures of my dolls, but that's about it. I haven't really been doing much in the way of forums and I certainly am not up on new doll releases. That's probably for the best really. The only company I keep up with is Soom.


And my attention has sort of wandered off, so it's time for random pictures.

These days I seem to just pop in, post some pictures and run away. But at least I have a predictable pattern, right? There's a lot to be said for predictability.

Yesterday I went to the grocery store and left with two bottles of polish. I may have a problem. >_>

YAY new tattoo! And it's the first one Ryan actually kind of likes. Probably because it's small and Disney related. And it's white ink so once it's healed it should be pretty faintish. He even only gave me minimal crap for getting it on my forearm. XD



It turns out the woman who did it used to work at Disney World, which was just sort of a happy coincidence. She also said that they don't normally do free touch ups on white ink tattoos, but she'll do one on mine. She sounded like she was actually interested in seeing how it looked healed.

I was quite impressed with the place we went to, I liked it a lot better than where Laura and I had gone. I'll be going there at some point in the future to touch up the text on my arms.

Which isn't really surprising, as I do that a lot now. Right now I've done three layers of OPI "Happy Anniversary" and I may add China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on top... I'm not sure. And I doubt anyone really cares... I probably wouldn't if I were reading someone else say it. Anywho!

Every time I do something to my nails I've been trying to remember to take a picture. I think I only have one manicure that I've done that I don't have pictures of yet.
